Visitor Information Counsellors
to join our team!
Full Time Summer Employment*
(Approx. June to August)
*Possible Consecutive Summer Employment and potential for part time employment starting immediately.

Requirements:
• You must be a student between 16 and 29 continuing your studies (secondary or post-secondary).
• You must have access to transportation to and from office.
• You must have a high level of professionalism.
• You must be willing to take on challenges and always be open to self-improvement.
• You must be cheerful, outgoing, energetic and a real “people person”.
• You must be self motivated, confident and resourceful.
• You must be able to work with a team.

Assets:
• Good office, computer and phone skills.
• Knowledge of the Columbia Valley, Kootenay Rockies region, British Columbia and the National Parks.
• Second Language (Particularly French and German).

• Tourism BC Tourism Visitor Information Counsellor Training (Possible credit for Tourism 11).
