Radium Resort Limited Partnership is optimistic about the future!
Radium Resort Limited Partnership is optimistic about the future! Over the past year, a significant investment has been made in Phase 1 of the Master Redevelopment Plan for Radium Resort Golf Course by building three (3) new golf holes scheduled to open during the 2012 golf season.
Further, the Board of Directors of RRLP is brave and bold by beginning a planned a 20 estate-lot subdivision nestled within the Springs golf course, consistently rated as one of Canada’s top 100 golf courses by Score Magazine. This new development captures the imagination of those discerning folks looking for a private residential enclave linked to the Springs clubhouse via a paved country lane that winds its way through the spruce trees separating the 1st and 9th fairways.
Radium Springs Estates is within walking distance to the Village of Radium town centre, the gateway to the Columbia Valley Golf Trail and all-season recreational activities, restaurants, shopping districts, live entertainment, Radium Hot Springs pools, and many Village amenities.
Residents of Radium Springs Estates can participate in a dual membership privileges at the Springs and Resort golf courses, including the unique opportunity to own a private electric golf cart for use at the Springs where the 1st tee is just a 2 minute golf cart drive away.
The common goal is a community of lasting beauty and value. Radium Springs Estates at the Springs and the new golf holes at Radium Resort are two steps forward in achieving this goal. While these are only two major projects that are underway at Radium Resort, many small projects such as the completed upgrades to the hot tub, indoor pool and fitness centre have been undertaken.
Radium Resort is making an investment in the future and creating jobs for our families.

The WhiteWay to Expand! Get involved today!
Justin Atterbury a board member of The Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce and chair of the Invermere Business Committee is spearheading a great new initiative, EXPAND THE WHITEWAY! The goal is to scoop the Guinnes World Record from Ottawa’s Rideau Canal! Working in partnership with the Nordic Ski Club who originally created the WhiteWay 3 years ago to provide a place for their members to ski on Lake Windermere. The ice surface is cleared each year as soon as the lake is frozen to build 15 kilometers of groomed tracks and the cleared 15 km is available for skaters. The vision is to double the width of the cleared surface and create up to 12 hockey rinks and maintain them during the season. Justin, also a newly elected councillor with the District of Invermere, has been able to spark great interest amongst the local stakeholders and the project has taken on a life of its own! But to maintain such a service the WhiteWay Committee needs funds to purchase the equipment and hire the staff to maintain the ice surface for a period of at least 12 weeks. There are a couple of ways to get involved.
- Be a Founder – anyone donating over $500 qualifies as a Founder and their name will be posted on a board at Kinsmen beach in perpetuity.
- Buy meters of the WhiteWay – you can purchase meters of the WhiteWay for $2/meter and receive a certificate. The certificate will be a great keepsake and a perfect gift for someone who has everything or just as that extra little stocking stuffer. Certificates are on sale at: Artym Gallery, Be Gifted, Rocky River Grill, Summit Footwear and the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce. watch for this list to grow
For mor information about how to get involved or how to donate please contact the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce at info@cvchamber.ca or call us at 250.342.2844
